Our Story

Behind Happy Space Storage is a family business with a sweet history. As the founders of Mayan Monkey Mijas, the beloved chocolate factory in Mijas Pueblo, we've always been passionate about creating spaces that bring joy to our community.

In 2018, we recognized a growing need for quality storage solutions in our area. We transformed our first location in Mijas Pueblo into a modern storage facility that quickly became a trusted resource for locals and expats alike. The overwhelming response showed us we were onto something special.

Building on that success, we expanded with a second purpose-built facility in Alhaurín el Grande. We've invested in creating a state-of-the-art storage center with the same attention to detail and customer care that made our chocolate factory a local favorite. Today, we proudly operate two storage centers serving the Costa del Sol, with every aspect designed for your convenience and peace of mind.
